Six exercises
The 3 specific references on modalities made in the book to this website refer to the Modalities pages. We briefly explain how:
- Page 75 (Section 4.2) Clickable modality taxonomy views links to the first of two interactive views of the modality taxonomy which we present at this website. This view is largely the same as the view presented in the book except for the interactivity, the colours, and, not least, some important taxonomy branches which have been developed further since the book was completed.
- Page 76 (Section 4.2.1) Modality
Taxonomy organised by medium links to the second of two interactive views of the modality taxonomy presented at this website. This view is not presented in the book.
- Page 95 (Section 4.4.1)
Aptitude of individual modalities links to the original modality taxonomy. However, the point is that you must interact with any of the modality taxonomies presented as well as with their sub-sub-atomic level extension and the list of generator modalities in order to collect information about the aptitude of particular modalities. The sub-sub-atomic level extension and the generator modalities are not presented in the book.
